We use single-origin ‘fino de aroma’ cacao beans, which rank in the top 8% of cacao produced globally. These beans are harvested in the Dominican Republic by our smallholder partners, and sun-dried for up to 14 days. Following this, they undergo roasting, fine grinding, and blending. Our Food Thoughts Organic Cacao Powder undergoes no 'dutching' or alkalisation process, resulting in a lighter colour and an extremely flavoursome cacao powder. Packed with antioxidants, minerals, and flavonoids, our Organic Cacao Powder enhances the flavour of everything, from luxurious cakes to healthy smoothies.
